But resistance is also stirring. People are rising up, coming together, and creating something new. The Intag Valley in Ecuoador‘s cloud forests is leading the way with a particularly impressive example: for 30 years, its inhabitants have successfully protected one of the most biodiverse places on Earth from the giants of global capitalism. They have stood up against mining corporations, the illusion of green growth and for the recognition of our mutual interconnectedness.

In this event series, the cloud forest becomes our teacher, and Berlin the ground for real utopias through conversations, art, and workshops. Across at least six acts and themes, we will collaborate with guests from Ecuador and the local neighborhoods to create a collective root system.

Join us and help us shape it – because climate justice grows from the ground up and all struggles are connected.
