During this evening of exchange, Indigenous representatives Bu’u Kennedy, Bunkê Inani Huni Kuin and Sarah Siqueira will share their experiences and perspectives on topics such as territory, knowledge systems, cosmovisions, art, finance, resistance, and systemic change.
Through this dialogue, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of the situation, challenges, and visions emerging from the Amazonian territory. The event is designed to be an intimate and reflective encounter that encourages listening and envisioning forms of collaboration and new pathways between Indigenous communities, civil society, and cultural actors.
This workshop is organized in collaboration with Living Gaia e. V. and the Spore initiative.
This workshop is intended for individuals who have encountered these topics in various ways and can contribute their knowledge and experience to the discussion.
This could be through personal experience or professional experience in education, community organizing, activism, cultural work, or organized civil society. If you are interested in participating, please send a brief email with information about your background and how you can contribute to: participate@spore-initiative.org.
Bunkê Huni Kuin, Bu’u Kennedy (Ye’pá mahsã) and Sarah Siqueira will also participate in the event Worldviews of the Amazon: An Indigenous Dialogue on June 3rd at Spore.
