Building on the previous day’s panel discussions, this workshop focuses on methods of working in, narrating, and resisting war from the very grounds of devastation. Panelists will speak from their practices – as ethnographers, geographers, activists, scholars, artists, photographers, and rooted humans in a shattered world.
The workshop is designed for individuals with a connection to the topics covered, whether through personal relationships or professional experience as researchers, artists, activists, community workers, land workers or educators. To register, please send a brief email with information about your background and how you plan to share the knowledge you gain to participate@spore-initiative.org.
Workshop with Munira Khayyat (anthropologist and writer), Julia Choucair Vizoso (scholar, editor and translator), Muna Dajani (political ecologist and scholar-activist), Sana Chavoshian (anthropologist), Gabriel Ferneini (photographer and documentarist) and Batoul Faour (artist and architect).
