This workshop creates a space of care and joy to reflect on our experiences of migration, resilience, and the need to recharge. Through body movement and performative cooking interventions, it invites us to engage with ritual, collective trauma, and practices of solidarity.
With Salah Zater, you are guided to move and dance with your pain, while learning how to cook recipes of love and liberation rooted in 1.400-year-old traditions — meals once prepared for spiritual healing, to nourish both mind and soul, to console grief, and to tend to depression. The workshop unfolds as a collective sharing: a space of connection, memory, and embodied care that offers comfort and a sense of hope for those affected by wars and the fractured state of the world.
After the workshop, a calm shared space will be available for participants from both workshop sessions. It offers time to integrate and exchange experiences if needed, and will be open from 15:00 to 16:00.
