Something special is happening in Catalonia, Spain. Pioneers Of Our Time Foundation is collaborating with the local population, scientists, businesses, and an international group of pioneers to launch a project that will revitalize a valley where life is disappearing. The area is drying out, the population is aging, biodiversity is vanishing, and the economy is under pressure.
The Muga River, which runs from the Pyrenees to the Costa Brava coast and feeds the valley, is receiving less and less water due to climate change and neglected forests that have become monocultures.
Together with 68 different communities, Pioneers Of Our Time aims to establish a regenerative society in this 100,000-hectare area — one that restores nature and lets life flourish again.
You are warmly invited to attend the screening of the documentary highlighting this undertaking on June 10 at 19:00 at Spore.
Afterwards, there will be a Q&A with several key figures, including Stef van Dongen, the project's initiator.
