This series of workshops will focus on movement as a tool for healing, community and resilience.
We invite women*—refugee women*, queers and activists—to join and immerse themselves in the rhythm of drums and ground themselves through dance and movement.
Our work is deeply political—emphasising on well being, the right to reclaim one’s body, and the fight against oppression in a system that isolates and marginalizes. Through dance, movement and storytelling, we foster solidarity and offer a space where women* can reconnect with themselves and their bodies. Storytelling and embodied practice will become a tool for healing, self-expression, and collective liberation.
In these times, when racism, fascism, capitalism, and patriarchy continue to shape the world to its worst, we practice a different way of relating—centering care, connection, and resistance.
The workshops will take place every last Friday of each month until june:
27.02. / 27.03. / 24.04./ 29.05. / 26.06.
You can register for each workshop via mail to: pamoja.rhythms@gmail.com
This workshop series is exclusively for WLINTA* - refugees, queers and activists
