Xook K'iin - Women, words and territories
The podcast Xook K'iin - Women, words and territories explores women*'s thinking about and their ways of contemplating, interacting and narrating nature in a changing world. Xook k'iin is the ancestral knowledge of reading the winds, the clouds, the voices of the earth. Xook k'iin is the counting of the days used by Maya people to decipher time, the cycles of nature and to obtain better fruits from the cornfield. In this series we will listen to the voice of Maya women who will tell us about their yearnings, struggles and resistances from the family, and their territories in their own words.
