Earth’s Greatest Enemy

An anti-imperialist environmental documentary exposing the world's single largest institutional polluter: the US military. Exempt from international climate agreements and rarely scrutinized in mainstream reporting, the Pentagon spews carbon, contaminates water, and scars landscapes across the globe. The film follows Martin and Prysner as they interview activists in Okinawa, visit the Matanuska Glacier in Alaska, and report from some of the world's largest military exercises. Through the testimonies of frontline communities, veterans, and scientists, the film connects war, militarization, and climate change and challenges audiences to reckon with the true cost of a global military empire.
