“Atmospheres of Alienation” is a two-day symposium that gathers recent scholarship on Afro-diasporic art histories and interdisciplinary Critical Black studies, from cinema studies to urban planning.  

 

The panel “Currents & Climates” at Spore Initiative features presentations from curators, scholars and artists expanding on critiques of alienation from the 1960s onward and discussing the aftereffects for present debate.
