Calm Down
Collaborative production of a music video about collective practices of care for nature and its communities.
As part of the project care taking, naturally together, the class 7.1 engaged with collective forms of care taking.
Based on the insights into different mutual relationships and communities in nature, the students developed their own lyrics and rhymes together with the Berlin based rapper Gigo Flow and recorded them together in the studio. With filmmakers Mohamed Rajab and Maher Shamashan, the class developed a visual narrative and script.
The music video is the outcome of a collaboration between class 7.1 of the Gemeinschaftsschule auf dem Campus Rütli, the pädagogischen Werkstatt Neukölln and Spore Initiative.
