Café Arakil is closing.
With it, one of the few places of Berlin’s Armenian diaspora disappears – a place that brought people together and offered hospitality and lived culture.
However, the loss of this venue is not the only cost. Added to this are the numerous expenses connected to the closure itself.
That’s why we want to come together.
Join us for an evening of music, food and community to show your support for the people behind the café during this difficult time.
You can look forward to Armenian music by Talin Hajintsi and Stepan Gantralyan, Kurdish food, and dancing with the SOSE Dance Group.
Come hungry, bring your friends, stay for the dancing and be present.
All proceeds from the evening will go to the people behind Café Arakil.
