Throughout this year of enduring genocide in Gaza and brutal attacks on Lebanon and Syria, we have been offering spaces for collective care – exploring together how regenerative practices can nourish our activism. For our last session this year we want to practice creating cultures of care, fostering connections and building resilience after a harsh year of endured resistance.
We invite you to a gathering dedicated to expanding our community-building and exploring the question of how this community of activists can sustain itself and support one another. This will be followed by a co-created space to deepen our commitment to cultures of care and kinship, where we share food and hold an “open mic,” inviting you to express something close to your heart—stories, music, poetry, or any other form of expression you feel moved by and open to receive support for!
To nourish us during the event we will have a potluck. That means everyone brings something to the feast that can be shared. We will provide a big pot of hot soup, bread and some salad too! If you'd like to join, please register by emailing collectivecare.berlin@proton.me until December 7th and briefly telling us about yourself and whether you would like to contribute to the open mic and potluck. We suggest a donation of 5 to 15 EUR to support the efforts of the hosting team and cover food and equipment costs. Please feel free to also let us know if it won’t be affordable for you.
Curators: Collective Care Berlin is a group of facilitators and activists that emerged through the “Regenerative Cultures Community of Practice” of the CitizensLab e.V. We bring a regenerative approach into the field of social justice, societal transformation and citizen engagement, integrating the cognitive, the emotional and the physical body as we seek to rewrite current narratives of democracy.
