SpinnenWerk is an art project in which children and teenagers collaborate with artists in an interdisciplinary manner at schools and youth centers. Inspired by the social nature of certain spider species, the project focuses on collective weaving.
This participatory exhibition showcases the creations from the past few months and weaves them further: You can paint new scales for the rainbow snake, dance with it through the foyer, create a world out of clay, and bring it to life with stop-motion animation, and weave your own spiderweb. Cut, print, compose, and leave your mark!

Everyone is warmly invited: Come by and weave with us!
The »Das Freie Werkstatt Prinzip« is a network of migrant artists and cultural educators based in Berlin. Since 2019, the group has been bringing art and education to the most diverse corners of the city. Our goal: to connect children and young people from all social and cultural backgrounds through creative workshops – giving them space to experiment and find their own forms of expression. Interdisciplinary and discrimination-sensitive.
