Together with Berlin hosts Kathrin Dröppelmann and Jyl Franzbecker, Rosario invites audiences to watch, be moved by, and reflect on films by Andrea Martínez Dorr, Jose Matamala, Julia Cohen Ribeiro & Sofian Lanaro, Maria Jose Juncos, Rita Hostt & Maruja BustamanteRi, and the film collective Silbando Bembas.

Across the six films, we encounter different expressions of love, relationships put to the test, memories shared across generations, and individuals and communities confronted with violence and erasure. Between screenings, there will be time to talk, grab a snack, and hear more from Rosario about the films and the context in which they were made.

The event also responds to the growing threat of violence against queer people and the increasingly precarious situation facing queer individuals and organizations in Argentina.

Everyone interested in film, diverse perspectives and experiences, shared conversation, or simply an entertaining rom-com, is warmly invited.
