What can be repaired instead of thrown away? How can clothes be embellished with embroidery, paint, or a glue gun? How can old things be transformed into something new?
In its textile workshop, Kweli e.V. combines learning about global issues — such as the environmental impact of the fashion industry, including its production and working conditions — with hands-on workshop activities for everyone. The aim is to foster a sense of responsibility for sustainable consumption and encourage practical everyday actions such as repairing and upcycling.
Join the Open Workshop every Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Every Sunday Kweli e.V. offers an open workshop for all Berliners. Participants can work independently on their own projects and receive support whenever needed (please note: no sewing lessons are provided). Students are also welcome to make use of this opportunity outside school hours without prior registration.
