6pm: Roots & Routes Storytelling Path
We explore our own stories through words, sounds and movement. We will listen to what the body remembers about home, movement, and climate through different story telling paths.

Participants can then use their stories for the Open Mic.

Open Mic starts at 7pm.

Over the past few months, we have gathered in workshops to reflect, create, and connect, exploring themes such as sexual health, pleasure, nature and belonging, climate and migration. The stories and reflections born in our workshops will meet the mic, and you are invited!

Whether you’re a poet, storyteller, musician, a stringer of words or someone who just always wanted to share something, this mic is for you.

No experience needed.

Event will be moderated in English but the stage and mic is open to all languages. You can sign up in advance via email or come on the spot if the spirit moves you.

Bring your poem, your journal entry, your voice, your ramblings or your silence. Whatever moves you is welcome - truths, questions, joy, grief or curiosity.

We are extending an open invitation to join our circle and share stories with us together. Let’s make space for stories that heal, resist, seduce, and spark joy, together.

Come as you are to perform, to witness, or to connect. Leave a little lighter.

Let’s gather: Open hearts, Open mic!

The event is facilitated by Ann from the Break Isolation Group at  International Women* Space and is part of Women*Health Justice, a collaborative project with Women* in Exile, Space2Grow, International Women* Space/Break Isolation Group and Spore Initiative.
