Empowerment, Art and Slowness
Clay and Land Art – a Workshop for BIPoC16.00-19.00
Save the Date
For adults
in German
This program is intended for professionals who have experienced racism and work with people, including educators, teachers, and social workers.
Together, we will explore the concept of autumn as a time of harvest, gathering, processing, and composting. We will work with clay and spend time in the Spore garden. Depending on the weather, we will spend more time outdoors or indoors.
Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own drinks.
The gathering at Spore is part of our monthly space for exchange and empowerment. Here, we invite you to slow down amid the fast pace and demands of everyday life. Together, we’ll explore different artistic materials and approaches because creativity is an important part of resistance and survival. Outside of a therapeutic setting, we invite you to engage with our collective wounds caused by racism, heterosexism, ableism, etc., as well as with collective healing strategies.
The workshop will be held in spoken German. We also speak English and Spanish.
