Decolonial Futures from Abya Yala

In the context of Anti-Colonial Month, Decolonial Futures (Futuros Anticoloniales) from Abya Yala will present films engaging with decolonial and queer worldmaking. The films will focus on the experiences of Indigenous and Afro-descendant peoples from Abya Yala. Through their work, these artists and collectives present alternative visions for the future, challenging the restrictive narratives imposed on them by colonial and capitalist powers. The event will include screenings of audiovisual works, as well as a panel discussion and Q&A session.

A more detailed program of the evening will be released closer to the event.
