The Colombia Migrante Film Festival (FCCM) is an international cultural initiative dedicated to raising awareness, promoting, and supporting the creation of spaces for remembrance through film and audiovisual productions. Its focus is on narrating the complexity of migration among Colombians both within and outside their homeland, in collaboration with organizations of exiles, migrants, and allies committed to peace in Colombia.

Under the theme “Dreamed-of Territories,” the festival invites reflection on how imagining and dreaming are fundamental practices for continuing to build peace in Colombia. In this context, imagining becomes a way to open up new languages and possibilities for reparations, memory, and non-repetition. From this perspective, and ten years after the signing of the Peace Agreement, the theme seeks to foster dialogue between Colombia and the Colombian diaspora, recognizing how many people continue to imagine, dream, and build the country even from a distance. Thus, “Colombia outside of Colombia” emerges as a possible territory, woven together through memories, affections, acts of resistance, and bonds that continue to connect communities both within and outside the country, and that continue to fuel processes of reparation and collective reconstruction.
