Utopias take shape through the ways we organize, relate to one another, and care for one another. Even within the conditions we are trying to change, we can create space for the world we long for.
Join us for a conversation with Mx. Yaffa, a trans, Muslim, Palestinian author, cultural worker, and organizer, to discuss the possibilities of incorporating utopian values into our daily lives and collective struggles. Together, we will reflect on working in service of liberation without waiting for a future in which we are finally whole and free from harm.
Together we want to ask how we can persevere while embracing new ways of being, especially when we are broken? What does liberation look like beyond the moment of its arrival, and how can we begin to embody the values of a liberated world in the present moment?
