After 11 intensive, colorful, and creative workshop days, the time has finally come: the young artists from the Haarlemer Straße shared accommodation are proudly presenting their own works—and cordially invite you all to the grand finale event! Together with artists Mo, Taha, and Nour, the participants discovered a very special art form during the summer holidays: calligraffiti – a combination of Arabic calligraphy and graffiti style. This resulted in personal, powerful works of art in which feelings, thoughts, and messages are expressed through letters, colors, and shapes.
The closing event will feature a lively mix of exhibition, music, live art, and encounters: Live session with calligraffiti artist Mhanna – experience art in action Live rap performance by 6aha Aiwa – straight from the community, straight to the heart, exhibition of the photos by Nour and the artwork created by the participating children and young people, Snacks and drinks for everyone Open doors – everyone is welcome: parents, siblings, neighbors, friends!

Lilipad e.V. is a nonprofit based in Berlin that provides multilingual libraries and educational experiences for children subject to social exclusion in Berlin, Morocco, Uganda and Paris.
