In light of the increasing criminalization of Palestine solidarity movements, the current state repression of protesters and the advance of restrictive migration policies in recent years, SoliSur is organising this participatory workshop for the Latin American migrant community.
The goal is to understand the legal consequences for migrants who are affected by police repression, be it in the context of exclusion from educational institutions, dismissal, censorship, legal proceedings or loss of rights. We aim to examine and challenge control mechanisms and develop strategies against fear and disinformation. This workshop is the second in a series that started in July 2024. However, it is not necessary for participants to have attended the first one.
