Planetary Listening artist and curator Kat Austen will present their new work Coexisting in a post-Petro Wilderness, an experimental musical exploration of the Wild. Faced with dramatic changes to biodiversity and climate, what are the sounds of modern wilderness? Austen’s performance searches for new forms of wilderness through the use of field recordings from liminal spaces and new materialities in Europe and Asia, alongside composition and improvisation based on speculative hybrid sonic futures and the leveraging of generative AI.

Artist Jasmina Al'Qaisi’s radio-based performance ~ ~ ° word of ~ ° ~ ~  draws on research from the island of Koos and the Karrendorf meadows to inspiring plurality of peatlands.
