Agenda Highlights:

Family activities: 4:00 – 6:00 pm

Join Leila Boukarim for reading of her upcoming book, SUNDAYS ARE FOR FEASTS, illustrated by Ruaida Mannaa. Following the reading, children will join Leila in making Humus they can be proud of, and later their own shrinky dink key rings which they can take home. Activities and snacks are donation based.

Language: Storytelling in English (some Arabic), activities in German, Arabic, and English

Levantine food, music and merchandise: 6:00 -9:00 pm

Food station: Come experience authentic Levantine cuisine.

Activity station: Activities will include Henna, coffee reading and tatreez (embroidery)  

Short films: Short Lebanese films will be screened in the auditorium throughout the fundraiser.

Stage performance: There will be various artists performing in the Atrium throughout the evening, these will include, drag story hour, oud, and singing.

Merchandise stall: We will have a variety of merchandise available for purchase.

Raffle: There will be lots and lots of prizes to be won!

All revenues will go to Emergency Response Coalition: Voices of the Unseen (Domestic migrant workers & Syrian refugees) and Soufra, Mariam Shaar.
