La Danza del cuido aims to be a meeting space in which the body - the individual body and the group body - becomes the protagonist of our experiences. The workshop invites participants to connect with the body as a living space; to remember, to share, and to acquire knowledge and tools to care for and heal our bodies. Using simple and accessible body techniques, somatic exercises, breathing, spontaneous movement, and our voices, we learn to meet and care for our bodies. With playful body dynamics we will create an atmosphere of trust and intimacy that allows us to approach other bodies with respect and to recognize and acknowledge our boundaries and others'.

Through consensual physical contact, glances, sound beds, dance or a mutual embrace, we aim to find different approaches to each other. This is an invitation to all women* with a history of flight and migration to celebrate each other, and to learn care and tenderness as an expression of resistance.

Bring warm, comfortable clothes and a blanket (if possible).
