Queer Deities in the Mountains
Thursday, July 23 | Spore Initiative
Speakers: Uta Bekaia, David Apakidze | Moderator: Giorgi Rodionov
We will explore fluid, non-binary expressions of ancient Caucasian deities and how the "mountain" acts as a living character guiding today’s queer artistic resistance. What does the "mountain" represent in our culture? Is it just a landscape, or a living character guiding today's queer artistic resistance?
Talk 2:
Reimagining Solidarity
Thursday, August 6 | Spore Initiative
Speakers: Ani Sakhlyan aka missteikk, Sopiko Suaridze, Aurah Jendafaaq
In times of socio-political turbulence, how do we support one another? This panel focuses on Berlin-based South Caucasian initiatives to discuss building resilient networks of care. This panel dives into the questions: How do we build networks of care that survive crises? What is next?
