A Million Kites is a collection of testimonies and poems from the children in Gaza, collected and translated between October 2023 and March 2024 by Leila Boukarim and beautifully illustrated by Asaf Luzon , This little book is a carefully designed vessel delivering stories from Gazan children, Heart wrenching and soul filling, in the most gentle way.
Join us for a reading, a discussion, and a sharing of wishes (wish writing kites will be provided). All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Palestine Humanitarian Relief, an organization working with little ones on the ground in Gaza, bringing them joy in these impossible times.
