Starting on 11 February, we will meet every Wednesday from 19:00 to 21:00 at the Spore Initiative to combine hip-hop, empowerment, and creativity.

As part of a regular group, we will support and celebrate each other. You will write lyrics, learn performance skills, vocal techniques, and gain insight into the history of hip-hop and feminism. No prior knowledge is necessary — MC Josh and Denise will show you how it's done!

Drop-ins are welcome. However, we would love to form a more permanent crew.

Mc Josh is a Black, non-binary rapper known for socially critical lyrics and openly addressing social injustices. In their songs, Mc Josh addresses both racism and other intersectional issues, and advocates for the rights and visibility of marginalized groups, including the LGBTQIA+ community. The music is a clear statement against discrimination and oppression, calling for visibility, justice, and solidarity. The songs serve as a mouthpiece to draw attention to existing injustices and stimulate public discussion.

Denise/Mo Nita is a German-Colombian theater educator, social worker, singer, and sometimes rapper. In her work, she focuses on intersectional feminism and anti-discrimination. Denise has been facilitating workshops for the SISTER*QUEENS project since 2022.
