Across two hands-on sessions, participants will use collective mapping, affective cartographies, and tools from social and environmental psychology to identify already existing resources, relationships, knowledge, and capacities, as well as gaps, and things waiting to be activated. This process will contribute to a shared database, to concrete collective actions, and to resources supporting the circulation and liberation of information. The goal is to strengthen and foster a living Network of Care.

These workshops are intended for cultural workers, artists, community workers, researchers, grassroots leaders, land defenders, and anyone interested in building stronger collective support and protection networks. The sessions are rooted in Colombian and Latin American realities, while remaining open to participants from other contexts.

This initiative is a response to the increasingly violent political context in Colombia and the region. Right-wing governments and authoritarian forces threaten lives, territories, cultural rights, public funding, and basic dignities while criminalizing or weakening the people and communities defending them. In this context, care cannot remain an individual or symbolic practice; it must become a strategy for collective protection, resistance, and survival. The sessions aim to transform existing relationships and knowledge into practical infrastructures of solidarity, particularly in support of cultural workers, communities, and land defenders in Colombia and Latin America.
