In this reading session of Spore’s reading group, we will focus on the book of the month Climate: Our Right to Breathe, a compelling collection of essays that explores breathing not only as a vital physical function but also as a fundamental human right, eroded by structural inequities and environmental collapse.

Framing breath as a site of struggle and resistance, we will explore how the politics of breath intersects with issues related to commodification, energy and extraction, land and food sovereignty. As we engage with these ideas, we will consider broader links to ecological survival and movements advocating for justice and collective care.
