Through guided movement practices, sensory exploration, improvisation and collective enquiry, participants will discover how experiencing water through the body can extend our capacity to understand the world through our physicality. Particular attention is given to how water appears in bodily experience, including textures, rhythms, images and shifting states.

The workshop includes somatic movement, embodied listening, body–landscape mapping, and moments of reflection and dialogue. Participants will consider how bodies are shaped by place and how perception influences our relationship with more-than-human environments.

Rather than offering answers, Bodies of Water creates a space for research grounded in curiosity, sensory awareness and embodied knowledge, connecting ecological awareness with lived experience.

No prior experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothes that allow for ease of movement. This is a barefoot workshop that includes floor exercises.
