Amid intensifying repression of expressions of Israel criticism and Palestine solidarity and constricting spaces for academic freedom, how do we collectively nurture a publicly engaged scholarship that can responsibly respond to this defining moment and foster a plurality of discourse?
The Infrastructure Project brings together diverse participants for a day of panel and group discussions to interrogate repressions and explore constructive and critical strategies of resistance. It also seeks to develop ways of supporting students and scholars in/of Palestine, as well as their allies. We envision this event as an initial step in building scaffolding to support communication, resource sharing, coalition building, educational programs, legal and media actions, and diverse initiatives beyond our immediate networks.
