Nah am Wasser is an intergenerational year-long program that delves into the river Spree as a habitat, “resource”, symbol, and force. Together with different groups Nah am Wasser will transform Spore’s studio into a platform for solidarity and cultural production across age, language, ability, and heritage divisions of its participants.
For the collaboration with the Floating KidsUni, Nah am Wasser is connecting with the exhibition Wasserspiegel - Water Bodies to bring young and old generations together at the WasserkostBar. Water stories allow us to immerse ourselves in the interests and knowledge of all participants and strengthen our awareness of the water that surrounds us all.

Nah am Wasser
Through storytelling, painting, drawing, writing, we want to discover what Nah am Wasser could be and use it as a space for playing and learning together.

WasserkostBar
Together with the Floating KidsUni, we will look at where our water comes from, the places water can be found and what we put into water and why. We will find, drink and eat different water mixes together and after you have become water experts, you will make your own drinks for the WasserkostBar and for our water library. These can be delicious, thought-provoking, shocking and funny. Be surprised!
Floating KidsUni is the program for young explorers in the rainwater retention basin of Tempelhofer Feld. Kidsuni is a practical, ambitious and crazy laboratory, which is stubborn, playful, deep, forgetful, improvised, concentrated, serious and light-footed at the same time, and which has made it its task to enable children to do, research, enable and reflect on the city, art and space.
