We invite you to this space of viewing and political debate where we will screen Latin American documentaries focused on themes such as migrant rights, the rise of the right-wing, and struggles against extractivism.

The first film, 'Con mi corazón en Yambo,' is the work of María Fernanda Restrepo, director and younger sister of two young people who were brutally disappeared and murdered by the police in Ecuador in 1988. Through the documentary, we will explore the advancement of the right-wing in the current context of Ecuador, where the government's 'iron-fist' policy has resulted in alarming cases of human rights violations.

The film lasts 2 hours and 20 minutes, and the discussion with the director lasts 1 hour. The documentary is in Spanish with English subtitles, and the conversation is in Spanish. The event is completely free.
