Filipinx Chapters Vol. 3: Food, Justice & Perspectives

Under the slogan "Food, Justice & Perspectives" ALPAS Pilipinas and Torhaus KochKollektiv invite you to a special community dinner at Spore Initiative. A selection of vegan dishes from the Philippines will be served as appetizers in "Kamayan Style", and the Filipino dessert "Piyaya" will be prepared collectively as a finale. The main course: current reports and statements from activists from the Philippines on the topics of food justice and sustainability. The event also commemorates the fifth anniversary of the Sagay Massacre that killed nine sugarcane farmers in the Philippines.

ALPAS Pilipinas supports and organizes the Filipino diaspora in Berlin and serves as a bridge to the anti-imperialist struggle in the Philippines.

Torhaus KochKollektiv is a group of food activists  with a shared passion for food, sustainability and community building. Together, we provide food for thought: What does food sustainability mean from a Filipino perspective? Join the community for an evening of thought-provoking conversations and delicious food.
