For 12 year-olds and older

in German/in Spanish

We cordially invite you to register for this linocut workshop for girls aged 12 and up (click on the registration icon below and send us an email).

Together we will learn about the linocut technique, experiment, and share our own images and stories.
The workshop is based on the book Die goldene Eiche (The Golden Oak), created by the collective Frauen machen Druck (Women Putting Pressure), containing sixteen stories of resilience written by migrant women.
All the illustrations in the book are made using the linoleum cut technique, the graphic medium that unites us.

During the workshop, we would also like to share stories from the book and our experiences from the project with you, and talk together about resilience—what does it mean to us, and what do these stories mean in a migrant context?

After the workshop, all workshop participants will receive a copy of the book to take home.

The workshop will be followed by the book presentation of Die goldene Eiche, from 19:30 on, where, alongside a small exhibition of the illustrations, we will offer a print workshop station and will read a selection of the stories.
