As a human rights organization, Xenion has continuously advocated for the rights of forcibly displaced people and improved their living conditions.

One part of the work is the "Wohnraum für Geflüchtete" (Housing for Refugees) department, which helps refugees find and secure housing, as well as acquire apartments, especially through corporate co-housing projects.

In 2026, "Wohnraum für Geflüchtete" will celebrate its tenth anniversary.

We would like to celebrate these successes with clients, colleagues, partners, and political allies at a big anniversary event.

Through a publication and a small exhibition, we will share stories from people who have come to XENION over the years, and from the lives they have built since.

People with and without refugee backgrounds, as well as individuals from the political and civil sectors, will share their ideas and challenges regarding the future of psychosocial care and housing for individuals with experiences of forced displacement.

A graphic recorder will capture the panel and its outcomes in real time.

Musicians with and without refugee backgrounds will perform, and a buffet will be served.

Although the event is aimed primarily at the XENION community, anyone interested in our work is welcome.

The event is held German. Whispered translation will be offered in Arabic, Farsi/Dari, Turkish, Kurdish, French as needed.
