*Xwebûn*: It is more than just a word in the Kurdish language, it is an attitude, a struggle, a lived reality. It is a radical concept of self-determination, and it stands at the center of this event’s panel.
Each of the female artists brings her own interpretation, but they are all united by one shared purpose: to break down boundaries through their art, to make the invisible visible, to bring the spirit of a free people and a free woman to life in every stroke, every note, every word.
Their artistic works are not mere aesthetic gestures - they are calls for justice, testimonies to history, the breath of a people that will not be subjugated. Whether through painting, music, literature or performance, these artists transform pain into creativity, wounds into resistance and oppression into rebellion. In this podium, the audience not only listens, but becomes part of a collective resistance.
