As Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui says, “Images are battlefields where the meaning of memory is disputed.” We seek films that understand the image not as a mere reflection of the world, but as a material practice that condenses memory, works that rescue and reimagine histories of resistance through moving images, where technique becomes ritual and error, a process.

To think about physical support in the face of the fragility and ephemerality of digital media: artisanal images vs. artificial images. In this sense, the former restore mystery to images, reclaiming the thinking of the hands, the magic of the artifact.
