Este pequeño librito es un recuerdo, una pequeña celebración y el testimonio de muchas conversaciones y encuentros centradas en la abeja Melipona de Maní, Yucatán.
Nos invita a escuchar las palabras de Doña Nebi, meliponicultora y guardiana de abejas melipona, que nos cuenta sobre la relación cariñosa que nutre con las abejas que viven bajo su custodia; a saber más sobre la Casa de Semejanzas, obra de Ariel Guzik y ofrenda jobón para las abejitas, que viajó desde espacios de exposición a Maní, dónde las abejitas la habitan; y a pensar con Atilano Ceballo Loeza, sobre la necesidad de cuidar esta casa que todxs habitamos. Es también un agradecer a los multiples voces, prácticas y conocimientos que se han compartido y siguen compartiendo através de este proceso y el susurro de las abejas.

La Casa de las Semejanzas
A little celebration with the Melipona bees of Yucatán
This booklet is a memory, a small celebration and the testimony of many conversations and encounters centered around the Melipona bee in Maní, Yucatán.
It invites us to listen to the words of Doña Nebi, meliponicultora and guardian of melipona bees, who poetically tells us about the caring relationship she nurters with the bees that live under her guardianship; to learn more about the Casa de Semejanzas, the work and jobón/beehive-offering of Ariel Guzik that moved from an exhibition space to Maní to be inhabited by the bees themselves; and to think with Atilano Ceballo Loeza, about the necessity to take care of this house that we all inhabit.
It is also a Thank you to the multiple voices, practices and knowledges that have been shared and continue to be shared through this process and the buzzing of the bees.
