Animation Film “El Zumbido de Baláam Kaab”

Based on the content of the book box El zumbido de Báalam Kaab, the Animation Studio “Llamarada” in Mexico City proposed a script and artistic vision for a motion graphics animation. In ongoing conversations with Atilano A. Ceballos Loeza, the intitial proposal developed further, especially taking into consideration the representation of Maya characters within the story. The Motion graphics used mainly stem from children’s drawings that were created within the workshops. The music score and sound design is still being developed by the sound studio Pacífico in conversation with the agroecological school U Yits Ka'an and artist Ariel Guzik.
